Our Online Guide Book - Local Area Guide

South Devon National Landscape

In 1960 our part of Devon was declared as An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), meaning that it is one of the best bits of countryside in the whole of England and Wales, a National Treasure!

On November 22nd 2023 the names were changed from AONB to reflect their national importance, the new logo is the head of the iconic South Devon cow and the coastline with estuary flowing to the coast.
